After months of sketching, prototyping, and obsessive fine-tuning right here at Nerd Gear, we are thrilled to make an announcement that’s been a long time coming.
We have officially moved into deck storage!
For years, we’ve built gear to keep your Commander tables organized and your gameplay smooth. But when it came to deck boxes, we looked around and noticed a pattern: everything felt a bit... generic. We were tired of the same boring plastic bins and uninspired designs. We wanted something that felt as intentional, premium, and rugged as the decks we build.
So, we made our own.
Introducing The Outpost and The Keystone, the debut flagships of our brand-new Remnant Series.
The Inspiration: The Remnant Series & Grimoire Finish
The Remnant Series is heavily inspired by campaign gear, travel-worn packs, and the trusted equipment you bring along to survive the journey. We wanted to capture a rugged look that still feels clean, sophisticated, and intentional when you set it down on a playmat.
To kick off the series, both boxes feature our signature Grimoire Finish in Dark Brown. It gives your gear a deeply weathered, book-cover texture. It looks and feels like it was pulled straight off a high wizard’s shelf and tossed into your bag—bringing an immediate “this deck has a story” energy to the table.
Wrapped in durable faux leather, accented with clean stitching, and secured with ultra-strong magnets, these boxes are built to safeguard your most prized cards in style.

We engineered this box with extra-deep side cut-outs, making it incredibly comfortable to execute swift, one-handed deck pulls right when the match begins.

How Pre-Orders & Shipping Work (Batch 1 is Live!)
Production on Batch 1 is officially complete! These boxes are currently en route and are expected to arrive at our US and Canada warehouses to begin shipping out to customers around July 31, 2026.
Because we use localized warehouses across North America, you can expect fast, easy, and completely duty-free shipping.
Note: If Batch 1 sells out, Batch 2 production will kick off in June (with an estimated arrival in October). If you want to ensure you get your hands on the Grimoire Finish this summer, make sure to lock in your pre-order early!
