Are you tired of trying to come up with creative solutions to organize your playmats? Have you tried generic options that were designed for something completely different and it didn't quite work.
This is why we decided to design our own with the following goals:
- Provide great protection from dust and spills
- Store as many playmats as we can without it being too heavy
- Make the playmats visible and accessible to allow for easy playmat rotation
- Make it easy to grab a mat on the go
- Needs to look great and be high quality
The Playmat Sanctuary is exactly what we needed for our collection of playmats and we hope it works great for you too!
The Playmat Sanctuary accomplished our goals with:

Full protection at 14.5" (36.8cm) width, the playmat slots fully cover and protect your mats. Designed for standard MTG/TCG sized playmats (14" x 24" / 35.5cm x 61cm).

Perfect fit for MTG/TCG sized playmats, the slots are 50mm in diameter, which is a snug fit for 3mm mats and comfortable fit for 2mm mats. Not too big and not too small.

12 playmat slots. We did numerous weight tests and found 12 to be the correct number. A fully loaded Playmat Sanctuary is about 3.5 KG (7.7 lbs.) depending on the thickness of your playmats.
- The clear plastic slots and hanging loop allow you to hang up your playmats and see what you have. A heavy duty door hook is also included.
- The playmat tube holder provides the user with a quick way to grab a playmat when your heading out to a game (playmat tube NOT included).
- We used high quality felt and plastic for construction. This gives it a high quality, visually appealing appearance in various color options.
- We added ties at the bottom of it to provide alternative storage options, so you can roll it up and store way in a closet or cupboard. (Ties should not be used as a handle)

The Playmat Sanctuary does exactly what it’s designed to do and it does it well! Easily holds and protects 12 playmats plus a 13th in a tube and can roll up too! I like being able to see at a glance all my playmats and pick one to play with or take to a friend’s place. Comes with a hanging hook for over a door and it’s easy to install! I love both of mine!
Playmat Sanctuary is a great product for gamers. Before my playmates were either in a box or pilled up in a corner of my game room. Now they are organized and displayed right along with my games. What a wonderful addition to my world!
Works great. Holds all the neoprene mats for my board games do not fit in their game box.

Picked one of these up down at Taps Games when I was in the neighbourhood. Overall a very good product! It keeps your mats snug and organized, and the included door hook makes it so you have lots of space for the rest of your ever-growing horde of assorted trading card goodies.
It feels, for the most part, very sturdy and high quality. My one gripe (more of a grumble) is with the elastic tube holder. It gave up and died pretty much immediately upon my first attempted storing of said tube, having broken off at the stitching for both pieces. I'm unsure if this was a manufacturing error or if my playmat tube was simply too beefy, but I was a bit surprised at how little it took for these pieces to break. Ultimately not a big deal as a bit of sewing know-how will fix it right up, but something to be aware of just in case.
Overall, would very much recommend.

That is NOT normal, the elastics are usually sewn on very strong and can stretch to hold a hex tube if needed. We will contact you to coordinate a replacement. Sorry for the troubles.
